Aragorn II, also known as Strider, is a Ranger of the North and the last heir of Isildur, rightful king of Arnor and Gondor. Raised in Rivendell under Elrond's protection, he joins the Fellowship of the Ring and leads Men through the War of the Ring, ultimately reclaiming the throne of Gondor and reuniting the kingdoms of Middle-earth. He weds Arwen Undómiel and ushers in a new age of peace.
